Just stumbled on the fact that Anarchy Online, a long running and well acclaimed Sci Fi mmorpg, is giving away a free year of playtime, as well as the game download, if you sign up before January 15. Thought I’d pass it along in case anyone is looking for a cheap and probably enjoyable virtual time sink.

I recently saw this Harrison Ford film, and found it to be better than I had anticipated. It’s moderately predictable, and the acting is only moderately okay. The two reasons to see the movie are as follows:

i’m downloading it now. actually, i’ve been downloading it since last night. i can see now why they would offer a free year… it’s gonna take that long to download the software! ha!
yeah, the torrent was really slow – so i did it on over the wi-fi during my evidence class on fileplanet instead. their servers move pretty good =)
