…was the funniest movie I’ve seen in quite some time. I love me some zombies, and this is one hell of a zombie flick. It takes a stab at many of the zombie films out there, while still maintaining it’s own charm. I know I should have seen this in the theater. I knew it then, and I know it now. I lagged. So, this is a friendly reminder to any other laggers out there that not only does this movie exist, but you absolutely must watch it. The natural progression that each character goes through is brilliant, as is the usage of Queen.

Definitely, hands-down, the best zombie film ever. I enjoyed the hell out of this one. AND, it has one of the best death scenes possibly ever on film – I won’t spoil it, just in case, but you’ll know when you see it. It’s really fantasticly gorey.
I did say “one of” the best ever on film. It was incredible. And no, I haven’t seen Dead Alive. Not sure I’ve even heard of it, actually.
as far as gore goes, dead alive is nearly untouchable. shaun was more generally pleasing as a whole. they each have their place.
hell, Peter Jackson was quoted in saying that SotD was the best movie of the year. if it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for me.
Shaun was the only movie I have seen where the entire theater audience was laughing their asses off when someone died. Seriously, the best comedic zombie movie ever.
I would offer up a copy of the DVD, but it’s the only one that my fantastic software wouldn’t copy. Boo.
